Cheap and cheerful . Very good noodles with authenticate taste. Most of the menu is noodle soup style, but each of the four we tried all were very good. I would highly recommend for those who like Chinese style noodle soups.

Authentic flavours in a cosy spot, suited for solo diners or couples.
Real spice and bold flavours beyond the usual British take. The food tastes genuinely, with a depth and heat that stands out. Portion sizes are decent: I had a starter, a main, and a drink and left satisfied, all for under £20. The space is quite small and mostly suited for individuals or couples, though it can likely fit small groups (under 5). It was quiet when I visited, but there was a steady flow of people, so tables do turn over. Simple, tasty, and good value.- Meal type

We had the beef brisket rice noodles and they were so rich in flavour. Really good. The chef was a lovely person. Good service and good overall! 👌🏼

很好吃! Very tasty braised beef noodles. Would also recommend their boiled dumplings which can be ordered as a large portion or a side. Noodles are very authentic, chewy and cooked perfectly. There are no frills here just good food and extremely fast service. Would highly recommend the trip for a quick lunch or dinner.

Genuinely the best food you can get in Nottingham city centre. The braised beef noodles are so incredible, I've visited over 10 times over the last year, and don't plan on stopping. This is not a place for good service or wonderful atmosphere. Just amazing noodles.

Quiet little restaurant. Must be a well kept secret or something as the noodles are extremely good. My 5 year old daughter, who is a particular eater, loves eating these types of noodles. She had no issue eating this and wasn't happy when her mom took some out of her bowl. Speaking of which, these are pretty big servings. I could barely finish mine.

My family of 5 wanted to ditch the restaurant chains and try something new. We have toddler too and we are so glad we did, when you are in there it is a welcoming environment, the menu is easy to follow and the food was delicious! Would definitely go again!

The Good:
- Food was served very quickly, took about 2 minutes for a bowl of noodles
- Noodles were hand-pulled; fresh and had a nice texture. One pound for extra noodles is not a bad deal at all
- Friendly service from the people behind the counter
- The beef and broth used are simply delicious. The original beef is a must try
The Bad:
- I found the prices to be a little high for what you get, however it is acceptable given the current climate
- The menu is quite small (for some people this can be considered a plus)
- The 大盘鸡 (big plate of chicken) is NOT served with classic flat noodles, it's a non-issue but I thought I might point it out for all you Da Pan Ji fans
Overall a great little restaurant and is worth a visit if you love authentic Chinese.- Service

The beef brisket noodles are delicious and you can see the noodles being made fresh in the kitchen in front of you. Very friendly staff, who seem to genuinely care about whether you've enjoyed the food. Not keen on the range of drinks, which I think cater more to an Asian palate, which is fair enough!

Unbelievably good. Very very authentic Chinese noodle place. Noodles are homemade, the portions are massive and service is very fast and friendly. Make sure you add an egg, they’re so good. I’ve never managed to finish a whole bowl but also never feel groggy after so is the perfect thing to have before a night out or a concert

Absolutely loved it here, they make their own noodles fresh in front of you. The portions are massive and the food is tasty. There are only about 7 items to pick from in the menu but they are all executed really really well. It's not a romantic or intimate place, and the decor is sparse, but what it lacks in style inlt makes up for in flavour and sharp fast service. Would 100% recommend and return.
been here so many times!!! as an Chinese i’d like to say this is my secret heaven haha !!! my friend said this is the best noodle soup he’s had in town.

The popular braised beef noodle is flavoursome for just under £10 is my regular choice.. Add ons are a great value to bump up the meal. £2.50 for meat, £1.30 for noodles and £1 for veggies are recommended. The soup is a great stock and tastes clean, you could drink it. Had the spicy chicken noodles and added extra chilli oil from the condiments, it was fire
